Vision on
information architectures
We have a clear vision on information architectures as ABIO of
course also. A very simple, but well workable vision information
architectures is those pictures which clarify the complex reality of
the provision of information of an organization to certain groups
users and people concerned, to constituents and to suppliers.
Pictures which therefore something must produce for several (target)
groups and as a result a variable transfer to pursue. A picture also
that at several levels expression gives to the reality, globally and
conceptually to the professional and detailed. Pictures which there
therefore not always the same looks forward to and also not always
concerning the same go. There you can do very easily complete with
difficulty and mystic concerning, that does not see we however as
supporting contribution. We want complexity. Architectures are
ranges hearing pictures in which consistency which is brought, is
more important than the content of the separate pictures.
This the "architecture of architectures" is, however, called or also
"frames of architectures". It does not make ABIO from which name
gives you exactly, true to it do is, thinking frame are get in which
you can arrange those changing pictures and levels. Definition helps
thereby, but is means and no end in itself. In all our courses come
return those scheduling manners forward, also to see you the levels
and the changing aims, varying with the communication partner whom
one wants reach with architecture. We distinguish a triad
architectures which are built by several fields and are filled in.
It are the company process architecture, information architecture
and technical architecture.
Of the largest problems in our field the fact is that each other has
separated the professions which occupies himself surplus of and too
a little cooperates. As a result, in the past people have operative
in the IT (more or less by force of circumstance) order taken to
their responsibility which does not belong there by nature.
Cooperating on the basis of equivalence of several expert knowledge
by these professional profession practicing ears becomes more easily
if total images are used in with the occupational groups recognize
themselves and that by every profession practicing ears can be
understood.
Finally we find that unnecessarily complicated making nevertheless
already complex matter is a disturbing of positive and progressive
increase of the field. Profession-enjoyed must address each other on
