Information
architecture and our vision on
training.
As ABIO training, we have a pronounced opinion concerning the
transfer of knowledge in our field. Information architecture is our
core business; this is a broad field, followed closely by various
types of professionals. It is also a field for which people develop
an interest because they come into contact with the ideas. In our
training, we want to accommodate all those different needs as well
as possible. Please refer to the separate section for our vision on
information architectures.
For this reason, our courses have been subdivided into three
different levels being Appreciation, Models and Master class.
We also feel that gaining and storing knowledge and experience
becomes much easier, more interesting and a lot more fun if there is
a practical purpose involved. For this reason, the connection to the
workplace can be found in all of our courses.
People learn in different ways and with varying learning strategies.
Our use of multiple teaching styles thus creates a more fluent
transfer of knowledge. For this reason we offer two versions of the
appreciation course. One is to study at ones own pace, the other a
two-day interactive course. The modeling course encompasses a
combination of theory and an approach that allows one to compare
various architectures as applied in practice / could be referred to
as 'watch and learn'. The master class follows the entire trajectory
and allows the participants to work with the theory offered in the
course in thir own business. This workshop-like method provides a
'quick scan' for the organization as well!
The majority of the lessons is taught by two teachers at once. This
is an investment from our side with high profit: the commitment of
this team gives you more accurate answers that are more tailored to
your needs. This provides more personal attention to your specific
interests.
Finally, we think that the contents of an ICT course should be
challenging. We therefore ask of you to be positive and eager to
learn. This will also improve your appreciation your own
performance. Fun, sensible and challenging is our motto. Information architectures
need commitment of the organizations they are made for. As a result
the information architect needs to be a person who not only has
skills on the consultancy level but he also can contribute in the
learning processes of those involved. |
